I noticed when build my instruments that I gave them names, as you can see on the instrument side. I talked to them when I rubbed and varnished and asked how they were doing... Yes. I know... I'm crazy.
Now I have decided that each instrument I build will have its name inscribed on the inside of the top
The band is on tour. We are celebrating 30 years. Eight sold-out concerts.
I have not had as much time with my instruments as I would like.
But fortunately I had time for some sunburst, and while the paint dries, I make the neck and the bridge
... and while the leaves turn yellow on the trees , Iv'e started a new project.
Here's my new guitar.
It doesn't look mutch yet but just wait and see
Last saturday I giged with the band in Strömsholm, and believe it or not, the sun was shining. ALL DAY!
It was the last gig with the band this summer. At the same time I received several orders of new instruments: A caravan-guitar (hmm, I have to start thinking about that), two tenor-ukuleles and a mandolin.
Now, in a few weeks, we have to reharse for Östen med Resten's 30-year anniversary. We start the tour in the middle of october.
In the meantime I get the time to build some guitars, and a mandolin with a new design (exiting), and two ukuleles.
