Rain, rain , rain on every gig

Last month, the band has played all over Sweden. Nowhere have we seen the sun. It has been cold and rainy. But the tough audience has not abadoned us. They came to the gigs and gave us sunshine, and warmed our souls.

Since I live in the middle of Sweden, I was at home with my family when I didn't gig. It often rained when I was at home to, so I had time to make some more instruments.

This one I call "Dread" because of its shape. You can se more photos in the "Instrument" page.

New uke again

Yesterday I played with my band in Rundvik in the north of Sweden. Today came the children and grandchildren for a visit. We went to Forsa, outside of Hudiksvall, and fetched a new rooster for the henhouse.

Back at home I sneaked away for a while - after I placed the new rooster to the astonished hens -  and glued together pieces of maple and mahogany for new uke-necks.

I had also finished a new ukulele that is made of European spruce on the top, Indian Rosewood on the sides and bottom and the neck of mahogany.
